Dear TDW Members and Friends, Happy New Year to everyone. Best wishes for 2012! Our first meeting of the year will be January 14th, 11:30-1:30 at C&J Barbecue in Bryan. Brazos County NAACP President Ann Boney is going to talk to us about her idea for holding a community information program concerning the new voter ID law. We expect to be working with other groups interested in this issue. At the meeting we can hear Ann's idea and discuss ways we can help make this program a success through volunteering to help with venue, publicity, etc. I will also have dates of various meetings, conventions, training sessions, and other activities that will provide us with opportunities to participate in the chapter and the party.
