Making Plans for the year. The main focus was the Voters registration Drive which was January 30, 2010. The locations for the drive was Democrats Headquarters, Oak Hill Plaza Community Center, Arbor Pines Apartments, Eastwood Terrace Apartments and La Mexicana Grocery. Registration started at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. This was a planned effort for Doris Perkins who is the director of this drive. Working with her are key people Reggie Cotton, Eloise Adams and Claire Martin. The site workers are Gladys Roberts, Teresa Gregory, Juanita Fowler, Eva Bowers, Roy Bolden and Volunteer High School Student Erika Perkins. |
